Blue Grass Festival Recycles

Blue grass fest 2

Festival Volunteers, Jim Elrod (L), Joe Weaver (R

Keep Pickens Beautiful would like to thank Ray Smith, general chairman of the first Charity Bluegrass Festival for the American legion Post 149, and all those who volunteered last weekend. The festival partnered with KPB, to set out recycle containers around their venue.  The weather was great and the festival guests did their part by using the containers.  9 very large bags of plastic water bottles and 4 large bags of aluminum cans,as well as glass and cardboard were recycled and kept out of our landfills.  Working together we all can make a difference.

If you are planning an event and would KPB to furnish you with recycle containers, please contact our office at 706-253-3600 or visit our web site at www.keeppickensbeautiful.org.  KPB can also help you get started recycling at your home or business.
